Polyneon 40 is our standard polyester thread, ideal for embellishing heavy-duty textiles and sports items with brilliant and durable embroideries.

We are currently transitioning to Polyneon Green 40, the next generation of Polyneon 40. While the quality of the thread remains unchanged, the raw material is now recycled polyester instead of virgin polyester.

As soon as a Polyneon 40 colour runs out of stock, we will automatically switch to the recycled version. The shade is exactly the same and there is no difference in feel, shine, performance, or price. During your order placement, you will be informed about any replacements that occur.

This transition is an important step towards using recycled raw materials without compromising the quality of our threads, your embroidery process, or the final result. It is designed to work seamlessly: both threads are processed in exactly the same way, requiring no adjustments to the embroidery machine or the digitisation of the designs.
