Cut-away backings are non-woven fabrics which are ideal for stretchy materials such as knits, fleeces, lightweight wovens or stretch fabrics in general. The excess backing is simply removed after embroidery, leaving the rest behind the embroidery as a permanent stabiliser. Available on rolls and as pre-cuts.
